Past

Growing up I was always very active from  BMXing, Mountain Biking, Hiking, Snowshoeing, Snowboarding, and Hockey all kept me very busy.  I tried soccer and baseball but never really liked them too much. Hockey was the only team sport I really got into and at the young age of 4. It was the fast pace and high action that really drove me to loving Hockey. I played Hockey from the age of 4 to 18 before moving away to attend college at ITT in Spokane.  I have always had a pation for the outdoors and the mountains and started exploring the mountains with my dad on hunting trips when I was 5 or 6.  We took our first backpacking trip together when I was 15 and I was hooked.  I started Hiking and Backpacking a few times each summer. I also got into Rock climbing at the age of 15 and when I graduated high school 2 friends and I put together a 3 person team and summit-ed Mt. Rainier. Today I spend my time Hiking, Backpacking, Mt Biking, and Skydiving in the summer months.  Come winter time I have quite all hobbies except for snowshoeing to dedicate my winters to Ice Climbing.

Career

I have been working in the Information Technology field for over 10 years and am dedicated to helping companies grow their business through Information Technology.

In 2009 I started an online backup company after my search for an enterprise level online backup provider at a small business price came up empty. In my 8+ years supporting small business networks I have been hired numerous times to recover data and restore servers after a disaster. All to find out the company had a poor backup solution and data was unrecoverable or was not backed up at all. I spent over a year testing software to find the most reliable software available. I then designed the entire infrastructure from the ground up to achieve the most reliable high available storage server network possible. The final product provides automated backup of users servers of workstations to a secure off site facility at an affordable price.  Learn more at www.backupplanet.com
