I love building websites in my spare time. It gives me some time off from my day job as a Systems Engineer and keeps me up to date on the latest web technology. The sites I run and maintain are listed below.
With my love for hiking I wanted to provide a resource for hikers to find up to date information on trails. Are the flowers in bloom, is the road washed out, is there still snow? These where all questions a book could not answer for me. I created Trail WIKI a free online database for trails in Washington State. The site is a WIKI and built using the same code as WikiPedia to give it a friendly look and feel.
My fiance and I are getting married in the beginning of April 2011. With our love for the mountains we are planing the ultimate honeymoon. A 6 month long PCT thru-hike! The Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) is one of eleven National Scenic Trails in the United States. The three most popular being the Appalachian Trail, Pacific Crest Trail, Continental Divide Trail. We set off on April 19th 2011 to hike from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail, follow us on our blog through all of our planning and along the hike itself.
GetLEET is a website I created to give fiends and family a resource for FREE Windows applications for their computers. As a Network Engineer I am asked all kinds of tech questions. One of the most popular being, Isn’t there a free version out there? Well yes there is! Instead of having the end user search for the application and possible finding the wrong thing. I created GetLEET a site I can give to people to find free applications to do what they need to do. Plus its a good place to keep a list of applications I use so I don’t forget where I found them.
