Mt Baker
Sarah and I took on Mt. Baker for the second time. Conditions were good, weather was iffy but we went made it. We know Saturday or Sunday was going to be our only weather window with ok weather for a decent summit. Sarah recently had ankle surgery and this is her first big trip so we knew hiking in Friday and Climbing Saturday would be hard on her ankle. We choose to drive up and hike in Saturday and went for the summit on Sunday. We sumited around 3:30pm as we choose to sleep in and wait for the sun to lift the clouds and calm the weather. It was a smart choice as we had minor rain out of camp and minor snow mid way up. It was 40 degrees at camp, 25 on the summit and blowing 30MPH. What a great trip! And we got engaged on the summit!
