Migrating ManageEngine Password Manager Pro to a New Server

ManageEngine Password Manager Pro "PMP" is a great enterprise level server based password manager. To migrate PMP to a new server follow the instructions below.

1. Stop PMP service, exit tray icon.
2. Make sure that the mysqld-nt.exe is not running in Task Manager.
3. Copy and move entire PMP folder to the new server.
4. Using command prompt, navigate to\bin folder in the new server and execute pmp.bat install. (This will install Password Manager Pro service)
5. Go to services console and start the service.
6. If you want the tray icon, Go to the application folder and right click on pmp.exe and select "Run as Administrator"
7. After confirming that PMP works fine on the new server, you can uninstall it from the old server.
